AMP Analysis #1 (EN)

Everybody knows the tracker population mostly comes from Europe. But how many people from which country are there? I think obvious statistic has never been counted even though Amiga Music Preservation (AMP) provided nice framework for that. So I collected and sorted more than 15000 people registered there. Here're the results:

Data taken from AMP's database on April 30th 2017. I summarized countries having less than 100 trackers in 'others' group. The below is the countries included in the group (country/people):

Austria 76
Russia 72
Turkey 51
Slovakia 43
South Africa 34
Israel 34
Yugoslavia (ex.) 32
Scotland 30
Japan 28
Greece 27
Croatia 26
New Zealand 25
Brazil 25
Serbia 22
Portugal 22
Slovenia 19
Iceland 18
Ireland 17
Argentina 14
Ukraine 12
Estonia 11
Northern Ireland 8
Belarus 8
Singapore 7
Romania 7
Luxembourg 7
Qubec 5
Wales 4
Taiwan 4
Mexico 4
Malta 4
Bulgaria 4
Martinique 3
Venezuela 2
Lichtenstein 2
Jordan 2
Isle of Wight 2
Dominica Republic 2
Uruguay 1
New Caledonia 1
Macedonia 1
Isle of Man 1
Costa Rica 1
Chile 1

Hm, well, numbers from fewer countries may not be  close to the actual state. For example, AMP shows only 28 Japanese people. However, aka_obi's jp-mod-music includes 84 artists. I'd never say AMP lacks reliability because language barrier is always very high around Japanese people. I'd say AMP is the union catalog of 'trackers visible from European/American world'. Absence of most African/Middle-East/Asian countries in the data element also bears out AMP's point of view.
